This guide is designed to help you prepare for your session, answer common questions, and give you a glimpse into what working together looks like. My goal is to make this process simple, fun, and stress-free so you can focus on enjoying the experience while I capture your story.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

First of all—don’t worry, you’re not alone! Many of my clients are in front of the camera for the first time, and it’s my job to make the experience comfortable and fun. I’ll guide you with natural prompts and poses, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to stand. The most important thing is to relax, be yourself, and trust the process. Some of the best photos happen in between the poses—through laughter, movement, or those little candid moments that truly capture your personality. I got you!

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel within the DFW Metroplex is included in all of my session packages. If your session is more than 45 miles outside of the DFW area, additional travel fees may apply. This will always be discussed with you prior to booking so there are no surprises. Since my camera often takes me wherever stories need to be told, I’m always open to traveling—just let me know your location and I’ll provide a custom quote before we finalize your session.

Can you recommend any locations?

Absolutely! I have a list of favorite outdoor spots around the DFW Metroplex that offer beautiful natural light and a variety of backdrops—perfect for seniors, couples, families, and portraits. Whether you’re looking for open fields, urban vibes, or hidden gems, I’ll help you choose a location that fits your style and vision. If you already have a special place in mind, I’m always open to incorporating meaningful locations into your session.

1. What services do you offer?

I offer lifestyle photography that captures life’s most meaningful moments. My services include family sessions, senior portraits, couples and engagements, maternity and baby announcements, as well as special events and milestones. Each session is designed to feel natural, fun, and authentic—focusing on real emotions and connections so you walk away with timeless images you’ll treasure for years to come.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Absolutely! I’ll help you plan your engagement session so it feels natural and reflects your story. From choosing the perfect location to helping with outfit inspiration and timing for the best light, I’ll guide you through the process so you can relax and enjoy the moment. My goal is to make it stress-free and fun while capturing your love authentically.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date and is applied toward your total session fee. If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 72 hours’ notice (1 week for events). Your retainer can be transferred to a new date within the next 6 months, subject to availability.


Cancellations made without proper notice, or a full cancellation of services, will result in forfeiting the retainer. Mini sessions are non-refundable and may only be rescheduled due to weather at the photographer’s discretion.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes! All of my sessions include high-resolution digital files delivered through a private online gallery. From your gallery, you can easily download your images and also shop for professional-quality products—like prints, canvases, and albums—directly through my website. This way, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy, share, and display your photos for years to come.

5. Do you travel for sessions?

Yes! I’m based in Texas, but I love traveling to capture stories beyond my local area. Travel within one hour of DFW is included in your session fee. Anything beyond that will include a small additional travel fee.


For out-of-state or destination sessions, I kindly ask that lodging, food, and transportation (gas or flight) be covered in addition to your package. This ensures I can fully focus on capturing your story while making the experience smooth and stress-free for both of us.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! I love when clients bring their own ideas or inspiration—it helps me understand what’s most meaningful to you. While I’ll guide you through natural poses and candid moments to keep things fun and authentic, I’m always open to capturing specific shots you’d like. Just let me know ahead of time or during the session, and we’ll make sure those moments are included.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes! I’m always happy to connect before your session so we can get to know each other and go over details. If you’re local, we can meet in person, and if not, we can easily set up a Google Meet to chat. This gives us a chance to talk through your vision, answer any questions, and make sure you feel completely comfortable before the session.


You’ll also receive a questionnaire after booking, which covers most of the key details—your style, must-have shots, and what’s most important to you—so I can come fully prepared to bring your vision to life.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

My standard turnaround time for sessions is about 2 weeks. For larger events, the delivery time is typically 4–6 weeks. I always aim to deliver your photos as soon as possible without compromising quality, so you can start reliving those special moments right away.
